My Question or Issue

This has been happening to me over several machines, but whenever I try to use the spotify app on windows 10, it starts just skipping through every song I try to play. Nothing will make any sound, and occasionally it will tell me "Spotify can't play this right now, if you have the file on your computer you can import it." This was happening to me on my MacBook Pro running windows 10, and now on the PC I just finished building.

If it helps, here's my specs

Ryzen 5 3600

GTX 1060 (3GB)

TUF Gaming X570

16 GB of Ballistix Ram, @ 3200 mhz

Hey @speedskeeter101

Try running Spotify as Administrator and see if it still skips songs.

Keep me posted!

Keanu_C

nope, still skipping songs. thanks for the advice though.

have you tried changing your output device and then restarting spotify?

Hey there @speedskeeter101,

Thank you for your post.

We suggest that you perform a clean reinstall of the app. This step will clean the cache and corrupted files from previous installations that can cause issues with downloaded content.

You can also try with another internet connection to see if the issue persists.

If that doesn't do the trick - can you let us know which version of the app you have.

We'll keep an eye out for your reply.

Cheers!
