My Question or Issue
This problem appeared randomly. First when I opened Spotify there was a blank screen, and if I tried to go on the Spotify website for the Spotify Setup I couldn't open it. Tried opening the app on mobile phone and also opening the website on with the same WIFI (no problems). So I tried opening the Website on different Browsers and over a private one, still doesn't open. Also tried to delete cache. Then I tried to install it in the Microsoft Store (this worked). After I installed it and tried to log in the Error Code auth:16 came. After that I turned off proxy in Spotify Settings also didn't work. Hoping for help Thanks!

Thank you for taking the time to post in the Community, We're sorry to see that you've been having issues with Spotify on your computer. We'd like to investigate this further.

 

Can you try disabling any possible firewall completely and also, make sure no possible VPN is enabled?

 

If Spotify works when the firewall/VPN is disabled, you'll need  to either contact the Firewall support for help on the proper settings to allow Spotify traffic through or disable the VPN. Spotify doesn't support the use of VPN and we can't guarantee the app will work properly when using one.

 

Another useful step to try is to restart your router and computer to see if it makes any different behavior.
