Spotify Will crash when trying to play a song

Whenever i try to play a song the client on windows 10 for spotify crashes, i have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the client as well as getting the app from the windows store.

Have you tried running your account on a different device \ network to see is the same issue presists ?

yes i have, it works just fine

Now that you've cleared it works fine on other devices we know it is a specific device related issue.

I suggest the following :

-Make sure Spotify has all permissions needed on any firewall/anti-virus you're using

- Uninstall the app

- Use any Registry cleaner you can in order to make sure there are no old traces of Spotify installation left on your device

- Reinstall the app
