This is a joke right? The file is a local file, how could I select it if it wasn't imported?

This used to work just fine but now for some reason none of my local files will play.

Loads of threads offer loads of solutions, but none fix it for me.

I have found a solution, download MusicBee and use that, it has much better features than spotify anyway.

Deleting local-files.bnk should usually work. 🙂

It's in %appdata% -> Roaming -> Spotify -> Users -> your user folder [123456-user].

This will make the client re-add all local files.

No doubt MusicBee works just fine. I also use another app (Foobar2000) for local library since majority of it is lossless.

Thanks for the offer Seb but for me that doesn't work. I sort of hoped that if we reveal our alternative solutions (i.e. outside of spotify) that it may trigger them into action to fix some of these bugs
