Spotify closes after about 5-10 minutes on Windows 10

Hello!

I have a Windows 10 laptop. Every time I try to run the spotify app, it closes after about 5-10 minutes of play. I am a premium user. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall. I have searched and seen that there have been problems with this in the past, but have not seen any solution that has helped. I had an old desktop that used to do the same thing. Spotify works great on my iphone and ipad; just not Windows. Would appreciate a working solution.
