Spotify does not play through Airpod Pros on desktop

My Question or Issue

Spotify only plays sound through my speakers, not my Airpod Pros. I have the Airpod Pros connected via bluetooth, and all other sound from my PC such as youtube, games all come through the airpod pros, but spotify doesn't. I have tried forgetting the airpods and readding them, I have tried reinstalling spotify but nothing changes.

On the spotify connect tab my only option is "This computer".

Just to confirm, does this only happen on your PC or on other devices as well? It'd be helpful, if you could check. We'd also like to know if this has always happened or if it started happening after a specific event such as an update.

On another note, would you mind trying to reset your Airpods by following these steps? If nothing happens after resetting them, we'd recommend trying to connect them manually to see if they appear in your PC's app. 

Lastly, you mentioned that you've already reinstalled the app, but would you mind going through the steps of a clean reinstall, as it's more thorough than a normal one?
