My Question or Issue

Only started happening just a few days where I thought it was just a minor issue with my network or with my PC itself but the problem still persisted even after I did an extensive troubleshoot on my PC and it wasn't my network while other stuff worked properly without delay.

 

One such problem is delay when switching through playlists,pages and songs where they would not load after some minutes. Another was when playing through a song and the next one in queue will not come into effect. The cherry on top is when I would close and exit the Spotify window and the music still plays in the background.

 

I tried deleting relevant folders and reinstalling the app, even after I did the issue started straight after the installations.

Hi there. Have you tried running the app as an administrator?

 

If you're running the Microsoft Store version of the app, please uninstall it and try this one.

Thanks for the help however running as administrator didn't resolve the issue.
I have not been using the Microsoft Store version at all.

I am having the exact same problem but I am on Manjaro Linux. Where you ever able to solve it?
