Spotify is adding k-pop songs to the j-pop mix.

When I want to listen to J-pop I play the J-pop mix made for me by spotify. Now recently it has been adding k-pop songs to the mix. I like k-pop but when I want to listen SPECIFICALLY to J-pop I don't want k-pop songs mixed in.

I assume there is no fix for this except for hiding songs in the mix which, contrary to what the popup message says, also hides the songs everywhere else. But I'm open for suggestions.

I apologize for that mix-up of genres.

I guess it's based on the fact that J-POP fans are usually also K-POP fans, it's all recommendations.

So while, there's no quick fix, it can eventually get better.

Basically the more you listen, the better the recommendations you get.

It’s more of a factor that Spotify made me a jpop mix saying made for you and it still has kpop even if the lyrics are on the song and those lyrics are timed as well.
