i read the other threads, i understand other people have the same issue, did everything that was advised, nothing worked except for when i clicked "sign out of everywhere". but then if i listen to 1 song and then turn it off again, it'll keep turning back on over and over. closing the window, turning off the autoplay options in the settings does not help or work at all. then i have to sign out of everywhere again.
there is no thirdparty issue, and i've had this issue in the past and changed my password 3 times, but it would have the same autoplay issue.
this is 100% a buggy spotify issue, not someone who is logged on elsewhere.

Hi there @𝕊𝕥𝕪𝕝𝕖_𝕏,

Thank you for posting in the Community. You've done a really great job with the troubleshooting so far.

What we can suggest next would be removing all lines from your hosts file by following the steps provided bellow:

  1. Open Notepad as an administrator (right-click > Open as Administrator)
  2. Go to File > Open, and navigate to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc
  3. Choose All Files instead of Text Documents next to the File Name box
    1. You'll see a handful of files, pick hosts and click Open.
  4. When the file is open, you will see a block of text with # in front of each line and might see entries like 0.0.0.0 website.com127.0.0.1 website2.com
  5. Check for any entries with Spotify in the address
    1. Examples may look like 0.0.0.0 weblb-wg.gslb.spotify.com0.0.0.0
  6. If you do find any lines with Spotify, please remove them
  7. Save your changes and restart Spotify

Another useful step to try is to perform a clean reinstall of the app as this will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.

Let us know how it goes so that we can continue to assist you if you need us to.

Take care!
