Spotify not saving current song on shutdown

My Question or Issue

I've seen a few other topics like this but there was no answer/solution yet.

But somehow on my Windows computer Spotify does not save current song and if I turn off my PC it will reset my volume and song.

However this behaviour does not show up on my Ubuntu Laptop / Phone.

If I want spotify to save my last played song I have to close it manually and than shutdown my PC, which is kinda annoying.

I've reinstalled Spotify already and cleared the Spotify Cache.
