Spotify on laptop claims NO song is available. Works fine on other devices on same wifi.

I have a laptop with win10, legal and updated version.

My spotify premium started claiming that any song "is not available. If you have the file on your computer you can upload it."

It just jumps to next song and the next and the next....with the same result.

I have rebooted, reinstalled, checked with other devices wich works fine on same account and wifi. Problem does not change.

Firewall is OK and spotify is online and showing everything else just fine.

I just cant listen to any musik in the windows app or web-version.

If I try to use my mobile as remote same problem happens, but playing on the mobil it self is no problem.

Any suggestions of how I get this working?

As it happens it was the forced windows 10 update I had to do some days ago. It crashed the sound driver for my HP, IDT High Definition Audio CODEC.

And windows could not manage to update it either. But there was guides online for this and once the sound driver worked spotify went back to normal.

A windows problem - who could have known! 😉
