Spotify runs automatically on starting up my computer

It starts up automatically now matter what I do

Hey @satanskuksugere,

when you shut your computer down you have to close Spotify.

When you don't do so, Windows will remember that and opens it when you turn your computer back on. This isn't a feature of Spotify. This is something Microsoft added to Windows some weeks ago.

I don't want Spotify to run on start-up i have a mac and i can see there is a page in the community telling me how to do this but when i log in it says i cant view it. I change it in preferences to say dont open on start up but it doesnt save
