Spotify shows as Discord status when listening on mobile but not on desktop

My Question or Issue

When i'm listening to music on my phone it shows as a Discord status but when i'm listening to music on my computer it shows nothing, not to mention that i can't find my desktop from the devices section on my phone. I've tried everything i can think of; uninstalling both discord and spotify, relinking spotify to discord, a clean reinstall, just everything. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know, this is really driving me nuts. Thank you.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

If you can't see the Desktop app in the Connect tab there might be an issue with the client itself, which would explain why it also doesn't have an effect on your Discord status.

First of all we'd recommend Logging out Everywhere and running a clean reinstall following the steps described in this Spotify Answer exactly.

If that doesn't change anything, let us know what your Spotify version is on Desktop.
