Spotify silent and not showing up in Audio Manager

My Question or Issue

 A few days ago Spotify went silent on my computer. Everything looks fine but no sound. Every other sound source like YouTube or Winamp works fine. Also when I right-click on the Sound Icon in the task manager the Spotify icon and a volume slider do not show up in  the Realtek manager like they do for all other programs. Weird, haven't had this before.

I forgot to mention that I have tried the uninstall and reinstall. And trying to find and remove all Spotify files before reinstall. Also purging the Windows Registry of every Spotify mention (I dared to remove).

Uninstalled again and reinstalled but this time from Windows Store not from Spotify. Worked! Before that I had tried the web player (which worked). So successful repair but I don't know why.
