Spotify sounds like a broken record?

My Question or Issue

 Recently Spotify Desktop has been skipping and looping songs like a broken record. I have tried various listening devices to ensure that it is not my PC causing this. Why would Spotify suddenly start breaking and stuttering on songs?

Any advice would be appreciated. Could this be because of a recent Windows update?

This happens to me too. Did you play one song and skip onto another song very quickly?   Try to delete Spotify and redownload it again.

Same With mine, Even if downloaded it happens, across multiple devices in fact

I recently got the same issue, always seem to happen in the beginning of a song for me.

Could you send us the make/model of your device, OS version and Spotify version installed on it? Also, let us know if the issue started after a recent update.

Lastly, we recommend running a clean reinstall on your device to get rid of any cached files that might be causing issues. This one is more thorough than the usual one. 

Make sure to download the app again from the Microsoft Store on your PC (Windows).
