My Question or Issue

I first noticed this about two weeks ago but it didn't bother me then. But random  playlists started appearing in my recently played that I couldn't have been listening to (I'm not into rap and all of those playlists were rap songs only).

I didn't pay attention to it until today when my dekstop app decided to randomly start playing songs out of nowhere while it was minimized in the taskbar. It also changed my currently playing song with another with me not even touching my laptop. And the songs it played are again from a playlist I've never seen before.

I signed out all devices and changed my password and it seems to be okay for now. But since I'm a bit scared that someone somehow got a hold of my spotify account, what should I do to secure it better?

Hello @liquidluck

that's not okay, and it shouldn't be happening if no one using your account, so it's surely someone else used it, either you forgot to log out from your Spotify somewhere, or someone broke your account.

Hopefully, everything is good with you now though.

You can read more about how to secure your account better and what to do if someone gets into your Spotify again on the links below. Happy listening! : )
