Spotify stops sound output, only restart helps

My Question or Issue

Several times a day spotify stops sound output. It looks like it's still playing, controls are working but no sound. Only reboot of the PC or killing Spotify with the taskmanager helps. Happens on at least 2 different PCs in different offices, so it's unlikely that is has something to do with hardware, the internet connection or configuration of the PCs.

Any hint is very welcome, it's annoying.
