Spotify won't play certain songs

I can play certain songs on my Andriod phone, but they will not play on my PC.  Any ideas whats wrong?

Any chance that they're labeled as local files on your PC and can't be located?

I don't have music in my pc, I just listen from Spotify.... and some songs are not played by it. Why?

Have you tried logging out and back in? Maybe a re-install?

WOWWW that's the first response that actually helped in my instance. Here's what I did to fix my "Certain songs not playing issue":

- Right-click on the song that does not play (be it in a playlist, or specific album)

- At the very bottom, click "Unlink Track"

- Try playing

Worked for me. Hope you all get it fixed as well, peace!!

Unlink track implies it is a local file, if so the steps here will probably fix it too:

I'm having a more or less similar problem. Certain songs won't play on all my devices, and I have to delete Spotify, and reinstall it, and even after that, the songs that won't play will play after Spotify is reinstalled, but other songs stop working. It's maddening! (Help!)
