Too many ads on free plan

My Question or Issue

I get the necessity of income and "free" isn't free, but my ad-to-song ratio is literally 1 to 1.

It's become absurd. I use to get a reasonable series of commercials, followed by reasonably uninterrupted listening. Plus an occasional "watch this video for 30 minutes of ad-free listening". It's been ages since I've received that offer... I can't get thru more than 2 songs before getting hit with another series of multiple 30 second ads!

Do I have some strange cache bug? Or has Spotify Marketing really decided this is a good way to retain customers? Even YouTube is a better listening experience, which really says something.

We're sorry to hear about these issues you've presented with the frequency of the ads. Could you confirm if this happens in multiple devices or only one? 

It's also a good idea to run a clean reinstall of the app, as this one is more thorough than a regular one and can be helpful to get rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

I agree it’s outrageous like I’ve gotten 20 minutes of ads in a row!!!
