My Question or Issue

 Hi everyone,

 

So, since today, for the first time in 3 years I use Spotify on my desktop, I had a problem trying to connect on my account.

First, I was asked my password, it was quite strange since I didn't log off. 

So, I put my email and password, but I was told that the app could have a firewall blocking it, or a proxy issue. In my computer options, I authorized the Spotify app on my Windows firewall, but nothing changed. And I don't know what to do about proxy. I have been at my family place for 2 weeks and it's the first time ever it happens.

Hi there,

For  quick fix, have you tried removing Spotfify ?

- Right click on the Start button

- Select 'Apps and Features'
- In the new window search for Spotify
- Select Spotify and click uninstall

Then reinstalling using the latest installer?
Let me know what the results are.

 

Hi Ryan !

Yes, I did this quite after, using the version on Spotify website, and it's
still the same problem.

It shows me "Error code 17".

I authorized Spotify in my firewall for public and private connexion and I
put "No proxy" in my Preferences, on the app, but still nothing...
