My Question or Issue

A weird (and kinda messed up) artist is showing up on my recently played artists. I'm 100% sure I have never listened to them and it's bumming me out to see it on my profile. I've changed passwords recently in case it was someone hacking me or something like that, but it didn't work and it's still there. Any fixes? How to delete it from there or report it or something?

Thanks.

Hi @ramosgnr, thanks for writing!

I suggest you to log out of all web browsers, computers, tablets, and mobile devices following these steps:

  1. Log in to your account page
  2. Click SIGN OUT EVERYWHERE

Note: This doesn’t include partner devices, such as PlayStation. For more information about logging out (or unlinking) Spotify from a partner device, check the device’s manufacturer guide.

Then reset your password again and let me know if it works!

Hey, thanks for the help, I followed your suggestion.

I did some research though and apparently there's really no way to delete this artist from my Recently Played, which sucks.

But thanks again! Hopefully this will prevent it from happening again.

Yeah, there's no way.

You can leave your laptop playing (on mute) through the night though 🙂
