My Question or Issue

The window is distorted in a way that hides the track progress bar. It's still possible to scroll down to see it, but it's very annoying.

I've tried disabling the Hardware acceleration and reinstalling the app via Microsoft app/Dedicated version, and nothing helps.

I'm thinking of cancelling my Premium subscription to move on to Deezer if this is not resolved, in addition to advising all of my friends to not use the app, as this is simply not acceptable.

Here's the screenshot of the issue:

Hi there @SurpriZe,

Thanks for the post.

As @kaworu_bloodpaw said your app UI is very zoomed in. The correct command is Ctrl+-(minus) to zoom out/ Ctrl++(plus) to zoom in.

I tried it on my end, and if I zoom in a number of times, the progress bar gets hidden. So, try zooming out a few times.

Alternatively you can do it from the left top corner 3-dot menu > View > Zoom in/out.

Since your windows scale is 150% this further enlarges all UI elements on the Spotify app.

Hope this helps.

Hey @SurpriZe

Based on your screenshot, it appears that your Spotify client has been zoomed in. This is an accessibility feature, just like a web browser. Try pressing Control + 0 when you have the Spotify window selected.

If this doesn't work, there's a few more steps we can try 🙂

Let me know how it goes!

Control + 0 doesn't work. And it doesn't seem like the app is zoomed in. I'm not using the web interface, but the Windows app.

However, I am using windows scaling 150%, which might affect it. But there is no way I will reduce the scaling, and it baffles me that such a basic Windows feature breaks your whole app.
