can't hear from Spotify desktop app when using headphones sony WH-1000XM5

can't hear from Spotify desktop app when using headphones sony WH-1000XM5

from same PC using web browsing spotify sound works well.
Using desktop Spotify app (set with play in this device) I can't hear nothing with headphones Sony WH-1000XM5.
Any idea?

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

Check the in-app volume slider, located in the bottom left corner, and make sure it's not muted:

 

 

If it wasn't, it could be muted in the Windows Volume Mixer instead. To check that, right-click on the speaker icon on taskbar and select Open Volume Mixer: you should see a small window with separate volume sliders for each open program that can play sound. If Spotify is not muted, it may help if you mute and then unmute it, and then restart Spotify.

 

Something else you can check is if your headphones are set as the default playback device for Spotify. You'll find a detailed guide on how to do that here.
