cant play the current song

My Question or Issue

every time I try to play a song via the app on my computer or the web player it plays for a couple of seconds then stops and says "can't play the current song"

so far these are the solutions I've tried:

-restarting my computer and router

-reinstalling 

-playing from my phone 

-turning off hardware acceleration

-turning on crossfading

-changing volume and song quality

-turning off local files

-changing file location 

i'm really at a dead end with this so any help would be appreciated

**bleep** i know i just posted this but.. i fixed it !! all i did was uninstall spotify and download an older version that i got off of filehorse .com. works fine now
