deleting podcast episodes

My Question or Issue

Using the Spotify app  for downloading podcasts. Once an episode is finished and marked as played, do episodes get auto deleted? Or does the user have to uncheck each episode manually in the "your episodes playlist."

Hey @danielmcgee,

Thanks for posting in the Community.

There is an option to automatically remove played episodes from Your Episodes, that is set to off by default.

This option can be accessed and changed via the app on a mobile phone:

1. Tap on the Settings icon at the top of Your Episodes.

2. Tap on the Remove played episodes sub-menu.

3. Choose when played episodes are removed.

The played episodes on the desktop app will be then removed after closing and reopening the desktop app.

I do not have remove as an option now what?

Yeah I don't see this option on desktop client. I can easily find it on mobile, but there's no settings in episodes.
