desktop app for windows (8) wont uninstall

so a few minutes ago i was on the spotify desktop app and there was a notification, so i clicked on it and it said that there was an update availible so i pressed it to dowload it but then it said i didnt have enough storage. so i decided to uninstall the program from my laptop, so i go to programs and features and find spotify. i click on it and press uninstall and the edges of the window turns white so i click on the window to refresh it and i try to uninstall it again but the same thing happens and i cant get this programs off of my laptop. so i cant use it cuz i dont have enough storage and i cant uninstall it.
