have to do a clean install of spotify to play new releases

I was not able to play the new album from eluveitie without doing a clean install. I had to do this twice for all new song/podcase releases. this started in the beginning of 2019 for some reason. but everything downloads normally to my iphone. 

but for the web browser player new content cannot play at all.

Hey @sneakatone 

I suggest following the steps in this Answer article to help the web player become usable again.  The host file method should also fix the issue you're seeing in the desktop client.

editing the text file worked. Im a few weeks in and new content can be played.
