My Question or Issue
My liked songs are not synchronizing between my phone and laptop. On my phone the likes are up to date but on my laptop they're outdated by a couple of weeks.
I have tried restarting spotify, restarting the laptop.
I also tried playing a part of my likes list on my laptop from my phone that isnt visible on my laptop, and this works fine, it even knows what song to play next even though this part of the likes list is invisible on my laptop.

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstallation of the app. Just follow the steps here.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

This solution has just worked for me. Syncing from PC to phone. Now will I have to reinstall either application in the future for Spotify to sync my library?

Just to make sure that were on the same boat - the restart solution @Loxer proposed worked for you and now both your devices are showing the same liked song, right? If that's the case there shouldn't be a need for further action, the library should sync automatically.
If you are still experiencing such issues though, we recommend that you do go ahead and follow these steps and perform a clean reinstall on both devices.
