My Question or Issue

just redownloaded spotify, all my files are in the right location, but all of them are grey and won't play. I have local files turned in, and all the sources are correct. I can't uninstall and reinstall spotify, my pc literally won't let me!! extremely frustrated.

If a song is greyed, that means it is unavailable on the Spotify platform (this applies to local files and songs submitted to Spotify). Please verify that the 'Show Local Files' setting is turned on and that ALL of the sources you intend for there to be are added.

P.S.: You are able to redownload Spotify by opening Settings > Apps > Installed apps. Then open the menu and choose “Uninstall” to remove the app
