playing only every other episode

the app hasn't been working properly for weeks. the main issue is - in a particular podcast that I listen to every day, it only allows me to listen to every other episode. it never allows me to play the other ones. usually, when I hit on play, it plays the first few seconds and then it turns off. furthermore, it keeps crashing, stopping music randomly, or switching the app off completely. sometimes it doesn't wanna load at all for ages. I tried everything like clearing data, uninstalling, installing again, rebooting etc. I have lots of storage on my phone and everything else on my phone works fine. the problem comes up both on the app and the computer.
