spotify isn't working on windows after uninstalling ad blocker

spotify isn't working on windows after uninstalling ad blocker

i had installed an ad blocker for spotify on my windows pc, but as it failed to work i uninstalled it. now i cannot log in to my account on spotify on pc and web player too. has my device been banned from spotify? because spotify is working completely fine on my phone. hope there is a solution to this.

Can you head over to this article and follow the steps provided to make sure that you enter the right username/email and password?


On another note, did you log out from your phone and back in again without any issues?

yes, i tried to log out and log back in on my phone and it works just fine. and yes, i have entered the right username and password each time.

i've tried clearing host files and now the web player is working.

still having issues with spotify pc.

this is the error it shows:

Thanks for the post.

 

Can you try the following:

1. On the log-in screen, click Settings

2. Go to the 'update proxy' settings

3. Choose 'No Proxy' from the dropdown in the top right corner
4. Click 'Update Proxy' on the left, otherwise your change will not be saved!
5. Click 'Back To Login'
6. Restart the application
