spotify saying unable to play this song right now

whenever i try to play any song on spotify it says unable to play this right now, if you have the file on your computer you can import it. and i tried to reload spotify and play songs other than my playlist, but it doesnt work, and it hasnt for a few days now.

Have you already tried switching to another internet connection or using a different device to see if the issue persists?

Also, could you check if you're using a VPN? Sometimes, VPN services can cause interruptions while listening.

I have the same issue, i use a VPN but it worked previously, i tried a reinstall, same issue, logged out and all the basic stuff, it works on the phone app with no issues and in the browser version, i tried updating my audio driver aswell but the issue persists

I am coming with a quick update, i made a clean reinstall and updated my motherboard drivers and everything i could (windows update included), now works with VPN running aswell, i don't know exactly what solved the issue but it's fixed for now.
