Sunsetting older app versions

Starting March 3rd, 2025, Spotify will no longer support mobile application versions released before 2019.

We want you to enjoy the best possible Spotify experience and newer versions allow us to provide the latest features and improvements. Older mobile app versions, like those released before 2019 on Android and iOS, often lack key features and do not meet our quality and performance standards.

As a result, users still using these older versions will not be able to log in to their accounts unless they upgrade to the latest Spotify app. If you are affected by this, we will notify you via email with further details.

To continue using Spotify, please update to the latest app version. Alternatively, you can access Spotify via the Web Player using a supported web browser.
