Problems after going back to free account

I had a premium account set eup with PayPal. Due to problems my premium account was cancelled. That's not the problem for me, as I actually don't use Spotify that much. But since Spotify cancelled my premium account and put me back on a free account, songs won't play. Every time I want to start a song, I get the following message: "Can't play the current song".

Hello and welcome to the Spotify Community!

 

That's a very common problem, you only need to go to edit>preferences and uncheck High Quality Streaming, as you're on free, you cannot get this premium feature.
