iphone skipping and stopping?

Chanced to premium and had loads of problems on desktop but most annoyingly on my iphone it olays about half a song then starts to skip and then stops what do I do? if it continues i will not be staying with spotify!

Hi I've got the same problem and I have an iPhone 7 and iOS 11.0.3 - had Spotify for years without issue premium customer - I even got a phone replacement yesterday (iPhone 7 again) restored apps from iCloud and continuing to have the same issue on the new device. Please provide a solution my email is chloe.r.glover@gmail.com otherwise I'll have to cancel my subscription but I really don't want to 😞

Hi Chloe! Have you tried changing to another ear piece? My problem was, when I using the headphone jack adapter with my skull candy ear piece the songs kept skipping, pausing and all that annoying stuff. I later then change it to the ear pods with lightning connector and it went back to normal!

What about turning off gesture movement control, or anything that reacts to movement? If that doesn't work, then you might need to wait for a Spotify staff to help you 😞

I’m having the same issue. Ive used Spotify premium for years and purchased a iPhone 7 3 months ago and Spotify just started stopping or skipping quickly through the song sporadically while in my pocket. I’m using the 8.4.25.906 version.

Hey there! Are you using the earpiece specifically for the iPhone 7? Or other type of earpiece? 

It can also be gesture movement on your settings that is activating it. Try offing all type of gesture movement or motion. It might react to you moving as asking the phone to skip songs. 

If the the above doesn't help you, you might want to contact a staff via the spotify website

Settings/Stream is not an option on latest IOS

Choices are

Siri, Notifications, Background App Refresh and Cellular Data

Still skipping like an old LP.

Me, too.  Nonsense.  I am going back to iTunes.  It works.  I download all my songs to my iPhone6s and yet when I go skiing, hiking, walking, living, it skips all over the place.  I have done everything you have suggested and it still happens. Give me a fix, not a bunch of guesses. SPOTIFY SUCKS bumper stickers have been ordered.  I want my money back.  Can you give me back my wasted time?
