Add Equalizer in Spotify

For ipod touch there is a huge need for eq because Spotify bypasses the regular Apple Sound Settings.

I use high end headphones but need to be able to fintune the settings so I can enjoy my music and tech equally.

So please, please make an EQ for the spotify app

Regarding the equalizier I've read many posts but haven't seen Spotify's answer other than it's under consideration.

What I don't get is why they removed the hidden equalizer?  With so many people asking for it why not just re-instate the thing?  So maybe it is an issue with Apple and Spotify is not allowed to talk about it with their users.

I am offically leaving Spotify after a year of use. Spotify is wonderful on my computer, as it can be customized. I just bought an iPhone, and music from spotify sound horrible on my BOSE MIE2 even on 320kbps, but it sounds excellent on iTunes with its equalizer. I had no problems with Android before because a system wide equalizer was available.

Let me warn you that you will lose a lot of customers for such a stupid decision. Even the worst music apps on the App Store have equalizers..sheshh...

For me an equalizer is BASIC. I use good headphones and an iphone 5s. Its really anoying that with all this sound power i can´t equalize the sound in order to increase bass and several frequencies with my personal preferences. In android is possible.... why not in ios?. Now my only option seems to change spotify for google music and use gmusic2 with its equalizer. Spotify make an step forward and two backwards.

I'm an avid Spotify user and supporter and have recommended Spotify to a number of friends and colleagues  I use it across Mac OS and Windows and can manipulate EQ in both of these by using Equalify(Windows) and Boom(OSX). As soon as I change to my iPhone5 the quality of sound drops significantly. I'm pleased with the changes to the initial quality of the tracks being upgraded but still cannot understand why such a popular service cannot implement a simple EQ. I'm by no means an audiophile but I know what I like, and I like having the ability to EQ my tracks to reflect the style of music I'm listening too.

I've even searched high and low for third party apps but they only seem to support native music players or implement a totally new one.

It would be nice to hear from someone within the Spotify engineering department with an answer to the question that seems to be plaguing so many committed users.

Please Spotify, everyone wants answers!

I've just been told by spotify help desk that there should be an equaliser on iPad app ??? I don't think Spotify can even get their story straight .

How can the removal of an useful feature be progress?

Does Anyone from Spotify monitor these message boards ? I think it's a case of 'ignore it and it will go away' . Thing is Spotify  - if you continue with this inaction the only thing that will go away  are premium  customers like me. WHY HAVE YOU REMOVED THE EQUALISER ? BRING IT BACK NOW!!!!

This apps will be perfect if only there were an equalizer. But there's not and I think it's really a shame !!! So I'm sorry to stop registering and paying if this problem isn't solved quickly.
