Add support for Google ChromeCast

Will you be adding support to the ChromeCast that Google announced today? Would be great to be able to easily stream music from all my devices to my receiver and tv.

Update: implementing ChromeCast is superior to using the Chrome browser plugin to move a tab with the Spotify web interface to your TV for multiple reasons. Most importantly:

 - You can stream higher fidelity

 - You can stream from every device, not only from a computer/laptop

 - You can control from multiple devices (so if I leave the room my wife can control Spotify with her phone)

If implemented correctly this would match the functionality of Sonos for a much lower price.

Update February 4th 2014: Okay, so Google has released the SDK now. Please start working on the functionality or at the very minimum give an update to the status...

Update February 19th 2014: 2,000 kudos, hundreds of replies (with more than a handful of cancelations). Apparently Spotify Germany has confirmed Chromecast support is coming. An update would be nice

Update March 24th 2014: 2,500 kudos and still no update. Cancelled my subscription today. Sorry, but if you don't listen to your paying customers we will have to speak with our wallets.

Not right now? That sounds like a, "we aren't gonna do this but we are saying this so the customers don't get mad." Chromecast support isn't hard and making at least 1,500 customers (who actually use the forum) isn't a priority of yours? Sometimes I wonder why I stick to spotify rather than going to another service that doesn't just sit around doing the bare minimum.

Since kudos weren't working I voted for chromecast with my wallet. Like spotify better but wanted this functionality more.

I love Spotify but I use a Chromecast to play music in my house. The functionality is just awesome. Please implement Chromecast support or I have to switch to another service and I don't want that!

Please for the love of God support Chromecast, either when the public SDK is finally release or if you can speak with the Google team to be granted special access like Pandora, VEVO and others have been recently.   You guys are a major player in the space, it would be a shame to start falling behind on functionality that others offer.

For now I give you 3 more days to react on these comments, otherwise I will definitely change to Google Music.

When we get no information at all from you guys, I have absolutely no idea when this feature can be realised, and with no transparency, I will change to another service provider.

PLEASE!!! Make this happen.  Spotify is the best music source and Chromecast is the best streaming device.  A marriage of the two would make Spotify/Chromecast a very powerful combo and I'm sure it would produce more sales/members for everyone involved!

The lack of chromcast support has me seriously considering moving to Google's Play Music. You guys should gert this added asap.

I currently subscribe to Google Music and Spotify, and one of them is getting cancelled. It looks like Spotify is on the chopping block without Chromecast support...
