[Desktop][Other] Let us choose to pin (or don't) the song details on fullscreen mode

It's came to my attention that over the weekend a new change got added to the fullscreen mode on the desktop app that now makes that album art, song name and artist name fade away (plus finally adding a volume control on full screen - which is great by the way).

This change pretty much breaks the usability of full screen for me now as Full Screen mode was a way for everyone in the office able to see what song is currently playing, but now we just get a darkened artist image at best, at worst it's just a grey gradient background for those songs by artists without images.

This makes the whole experience pretty awful in my opinion. At the very least there should be a way to pin that information at all times for those of us that like to be able to see that information at a glance.

Maybe i just need to wait on the update, I'm in the UK if that makes a difference.

Recent update fixed it for me however it would be better if the album art was bit bigger.

The black full screen mode is super eerie to look at !

Much better, thank you Spotify devs.... Please make album art bigger (or a settings option for different sizes)..  Mak background artist pics a little brighter.. Add the current time of day - (optional) would be supper cool.

Weird... it wasn't working for me 2 days ago and today I came into work and now the song info is sticking around!  I don't know what changed, maybe my company updated Windows overnight, but hey I'll take it!  I do agree with others though that I'd like to see the album art larger, but at this point I'm just glad it's there, along with the name of the song, artist, and playlist.  Yay!!  Thanks devs.

This is a pathetic size of album artwork. The uploaded album size is 3000x3000 pixels so why is it so small?
I can't speak for anyone else but the (darkened) background image shown is so irrelevant and unnecessary.
Ideally the album cover would be shown in full size or as big as the screen is and a background color would be chosen from the cover.

I found this image from 2012. this was perfect. not sure why it was changed.

Thanks for the update on fullscreen mode! Much better now, but I agree with the comments about small album artwork size.

Would it make sense to make the album artwork larger if user clicks on it? And make it stay large for the upcoming songs too as long as fullscreen mode is active.

Album artwork is much more relevant for the mood of the song than the artist picture would be. I really would love to see album artwork as the center of the focus in fullscreen mode. I know some artists upload those short video clips and that may be the reason why album art is currently so small on the side of the screen. But still, I'm hoping to get a chance to decide if I prefer to see the album artwork.

I can use fullscreen normally again!
I had actually stopped using it so I could see what I was listening too...

just need options to choose to enable/disable them and a scaling bar would be so useful!
