[Mobile] Get rid of 'Create' button on mobile navigation bar

I recently got the last update, and found that a fourth button was added to the bottom navbar. What's the point of this? It's in the way of entering 'Your Library' section, as this was the default spot for that button.

Besides that, does it really need to have a shortcut? How often do people create new playlists or blends? There's already a button for that in 'Your Library', so...

I think removing this button will improve UI.

the new settings to turn off + button on nav bar appears at [my profile icon click -> settings -> contents and display -> + button toggle on the bottom of the list]. I successfully removed via that menu.

Please get rid of this or at least move it out of the bottom-right. I need my Library button WAY more than a Create button. Library and Search are THE most important functionalities of the whole app. Create I only need when I need it

I’m not a fan of the recent update that added the “+” button to the bottom bar. Would it be possible to choose to remove/hide it?

It’s quite disappointing to tap the right side of the bar and not be taken to my Library anymore. I also really appreciated how clean and simple the previous bottom bar was—why add more elements to it? Everything we need (and this option is now providing) is already accessible within the Library.

Jes, very much agree on this. Over the last time Spotify made some really questionable decisions in terms of ui and appearance both in the mobile app as on desktop. It feels like they just add random things and will check if people use the new buttons and keep if it works (it dont). Please fix your stuff spotify!

I've never given feedback on any app before but searched out the forums to feedback on this. I'm a product manager to understand full well that users can be resistant to change, so am doing my best not to be one but this is a really dumb design choice. It's just appeared for me so I hope it's just testing and will be removed.

Spotify is an app for consuming content, not creating it. Sure, I can create playlists, blends etc, but that's not the core functionality and it only hidden a few clicks away. I will create a playlist etc once a month on average. Functionality that rare doesn't deserve space in the nav bar. I navigate between home, search, and library constantly - so they should be there for sure.

Create? If you want to promote it stick it as a layer on the homepage or library.
