Outbox

With all the social sending music features on spotify, an outbox to track what music I've sent and to who, would be a huge help. I'm always thinking how much a friend would love a song and then sending it to them, only to have them tell me, I have already sent them the song in the past.

Having a tracker on the outbox would also be useful, to see if they have listened to the song.

Perhaps having a feature of a notification if you try to send the same song to a friend twice or another message if they have heard the song in the past, even if you have never sent them it before.

The outbox request has been active on the old GetSatisfaction forum for over a year, so I think it's about time it got some serious attention on these new forums.

I think it's working on. See what's happened with the iPad app. More silence - it's ongoing. This is the cryptic language of Spotify. If they don't consider it, they are quick to say in the forum that it's not planned!

I appreciate the "workaround" idea of using facebook messages, however, I find that fb messages to/from Spotify that are more than a month old are not archived in my fb messages.  So I can see what I sent last week, but not what I sent in April.

This is only marginally helpful, as the OLDER sent-songs are the ones I can't remember.  However, my friends still have everything I've sent in their inboxes, and i get an annoyed fb message reading "Seriously, you sent me this in January." 

No harm no foul, no one is dying from Inbox overload.  I just wanted to point out that the "workaround" isn't actually very workable. 

Outbox soon, please!

I am a developer and am wondering if this 'outbox' functionality can be solved with a spotify app, as I would be very interested in developing this app.  I , and everyone else I know, would LOVE an outbox, it's really needed.

BUT - I have looked through the developer documentation and do not see where you can get a hold of the users song as it is being sent, and thus populate an outbox, so I am wondering if a spotify developer could let me know if this is a possibility.

I would also love to see this feature. Some friends I've sent hundreds of tracks to, and I'm sure there have been countless times where I've sent them the same thing again and again.  Not all my Spotify friends are on Facebook so the outbox workaround doesn't work for them. 

Please please let us see who we've sent songs to!

I just deleted my entire inbox on accident :(.  I would have loved to have my friends send me what they sent me before by looking at their outbox (or allowing me to undo what I did [ctrl + z did not work!])

As stated, it kind of seems like a no-brainer when developing this app that theyd have it already.

Please add an Outbox!!

I have been wanting this option since the service was released in the US.  I'm consistantly sharing music with friends that tell me I already sent them the track or album.  Really hope Spotify is watching this idea!

I'd really love to see the "Outbox" feature added! I'm also not partial to fb integration into everything I do! I'd rather see what I've sent right in Spotify. Pretty please, add an outbox!
