Picture on Profile

I would like to suugest the option of adding our own pictures or avitars WITHOUT linking it to our Facebook accounts.

I know there are some of us that were fortunate enough to get Spotify before it linked with Facebook and I would love to add my picture on the account page.

Yeah, stop being lazy and give us a way to pull in a profile picture without using Facebook. It's not like you need to worry about persistent storage for the millions of uploads that users will be sending your way....

I cant believe you guys have this problem in the first place to be honest. 

Is this promoting facebook? Because that is all I can think of. 

You guys have a great service but cummon. I have deleted facebook and you guys said you will move everything accross.

I got playlists but lost touch with other spotify users I was in touch with and following.

I reckon you also have to make the transition between a facebook based account and lone account a little more simple too. That would really be in your favour.

Two years later and Spotify still has no way to add a profile picture or link to another service (last.fm, perhaps?). I won't be leaving the service any time soon unless Google develops a desktop app for Linux but would love to be able to change my generic profile photo.

Profile picture without FB will be great! Come on spotify everyone asking for it and your better then this to understand users needs. Said enough... 🙂

I'm sorry but what the actual **bleep** is going on Spotify? This is the most basic stupid little implementation. Any engineer in the world could build this out in a day.

It's been going on for a while... I think that they make profit when people link their facebook to spotify. That is one reason why they have yet to add a basic feature. It's the little things that matter the most.
