[Playlists] Sort List of Playlists alphabetically

How about ordering playlists alphabetically? I'm paying for this service and this feature is the most common and easiest one even for a free music player...

I have so many itemsin my playlist. the worst thing is without the sort it makes it very likely to create a duplicate item which is more up to date than the previous one.

All I want do is to sort, identify the item in the  playlist add / delete track(s) in so doing through simple management keeping my playlist up to date with no duplicates!!!  - So simple

I do have a smart phone however I spend most of my time at my desk and play my music through Bose speakers. I have to say the surround sound is good!

This lack of sorting is " a pain in the backside"  and just maybe that £9.99 could go some where else!

ON the desktop IN The playlist sorting works, as far I know. I`m not often sorting within the Playlist,, but clicking on "Name" or "Artist" will sort that alphanumerical.

 As far I understand this thread, it is about not being able to sort the playlists themselves..

Thtis is why you have to scroll through all of your lists, even if you know what name it has. In the eyes of spotify you must remember when you last played or changed it..

cannot sort

It's nuts. Having worked in BI and databases for some 20 years its like a "A
red rag to a bull" !!!

Mandelhoernchen, you're detracting from the whole point of this thread. We know we can organise by track or artist in a playlist. 

We we want to be able to organise all our playlists on the left hand side (desktop) alphabetically. It really is that simple.

Hi All,

I was the creator of this thread....
Spotify said they are working on this however, I did find out a way to sort
the playlists MANUALLY.
This can only be done on the desktop version.....
Simply left-click on the playlist, drag up or down between the other
playlists and drop (you will see a red line that appears when you're able
to drop). If you have many playlists, it will take some time but it pays
off at the end. You will like this a lot better!!!
