[Playlists] Sort List of Playlists alphabetically

How about ordering playlists alphabetically? I'm paying for this service and this feature is the most common and easiest one even for a free music player...

Hello Community and SPOTIFY, 

Yes the ability to customize/re-order your playlists or on mobile to delete a track directly fron the list by swiping <<<left which is now Save or swipe right>>> which is Queue... so maybe change the settings of the "swipe" to be swipe rihgt>>>for delete.

Spotify PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE create alphabetical sorting of Playlists for desktop.  At the very least, can you provide an update on when we can expect the feature?

Sorting is available for Albums and Artists and I cannot understand why it's not available for Playlists.  Very painful user experience.  It's nice that Playlists can be sorted on mobile, but that sorting doesn't transfer when trying to play Spotify on Sonos and since I can't often find the playlist I'm looking for on Spotify while in the Sonos app, I just swtich to Pandora because they make it easy to find the music lists I'm looking for.

Yes, this is not an "idea" for "better organization of large collections" ... it is the first and most basic way to organize a large collection. 

If you don't agree, how about I come to Spotify HQ and go through any hard copies of coding reference texts that your developers use, and replace them with versions where the Index is randomly alphabetized like my Playlists are. Then they can see how easy it is to look things up! 

I joke... but seriously, it's a valid analogy and it is completely ridiculous that you cannot sort the list of playlists alphabetically. 

Other than that I love Spotify and thank you for a great product.

I'm completley fed up about the fact that I can't sort my playlists at least alphabetized while using the desktop version (Windows). In deed there is actually ASOLUTELY NO WAY to sort my playlists. WHY aren't you able to provide such a simple feature? That's mot PREMIUM, that's just poor. Every freeware-player can do that.

It looks quite arrogant how you ignore the wishes of your customers consequently. As you ca see I'm not the only person who wishes a possibility to sort playlists.

The result is that I don't use the desktop version any more to hear music while working. And I'm asking myself "Why should I pay for the premuim version when I dont use Spotify most of the time?"

I earlier times I was Napster user. Napster had much better options fpr searching music and sorting playlists or albums. Perhaps I should change again...

@ mc-canada:Thx for the compliment. Maybe that those guys that are responsive for the software don't think that such an antique wish like sorting anything is important. But I'm in the mid-50s so I grew up with LPs, Singles and compact cassette tapes and I ever had a look on keeping a kind of order i my music archives. Now I have a big digital archive on a HP Home Server, and I still don't like the "modern chaos". All my own digitized LPs and old tapes are well tagged and sorted, and exactly that is what I expect while using an actual and modern music streaming service.

The iOS and the Android versions of have at least the possibility to sort playlists in alphabetical order in both cases. It really shouldn't be a problem to implement this "extraordinary feature" in the desktop version of spotify. If this won't happen within the next few weeks I'll look for an alternaive service with better sorting options. Or I'll quit using legal music streaming services... Using Spotify with the desktp version sucks!
