Please, base the recommendation on the music I listen!

I'm not interested at all in the general recommendations of mainstream artists you promote, please create recommendations on the user preferences: that will make more likely to discover new music we'll like and PURCHASE it!!

It's not quite fixed yet.

I listen to only 1 playlist (my own) that contains at most 5 dutch songs (out of 100's, not even counting all the other albums and playlists I listen to, which are all english).

Yet all the recommended songs I see are Dutch songs, and not even the classics: I've heard a few of those songs on the radio, it's utter garbage with autotune.

Not a single song that would sense to my playlist.

Why am I not seeing any Foo Fighters or Queens Of The Stone Age in there? Just to name something that actually would fit.

i completely agree. spotify should learn that a language isn't a genre.

after listening to german punk, it will feed me with german pop, german rap, german raggea, etc and this really destroys every mood. 

but if i start an english punk song, the german bands won't show up again.

the only way to listen to punk from all over the world is by creating own playlists..

i remember the nokia sound app: it handled this without issues, about 5years ago...

Spotify was preloaded on my new phone. I've never used it before. When I tried to register I was told I already had...I then registered with a new password and even though I live in the UK nearly all the recommendations for music and podcasts are for a variety of Indian artists. I've never listened to any Indian music or podcasts! Why is this? Is it because I have an Indian sounding name? Even the emails inviting me to upgrade quote prices in Indian rupees. If Spotify has confused me with another user then I'd like to know.

If recommended music is so damn good then why is it when i listen to emo and edm for 12 hours straight you reccomend lofi hip hop.
