[Podcasts] Automatically save offline new Podcasts and remove completed Podcasts

Add the ability to have a podcast you follow automatically downloaded and deleted once you've listened to it all the way through.

Updated on 2022-12-20

Hey folks,

Thanks for coming to the Spotify Idea Exchange and voting to make this happen.

We're happy to announce that this feature is now available on all platforms. Our developers have worked their magic backstage and made this possible now!

The frequency of removal of episodes can be adjusted from the cogwheel icon in "Your episodes".

Once again, thanks for helping us make Spotify better, by participating here on the Community.

@lyubka thanks for the update.  Might have been wise to inform everyone that this was actually being worked on prior to it being implemented.  this is an ancient thread/request

Because you lack this basic podcasting feature, I declare this to be the WORST podcasting service.
I listen to hours and hours of podcasts every day.
But I don't use Spotify. Get it together guys.

This has been fixed for a long time now. I'm happy now. They clearly
thought it was as important as I did.

If this was some weird sarcasm directed at my post because I was
complaining that my music app didn't do podcasts well and thus I was using
a second app to run podcasts. Well sir, you might need to get some help,
mental and/or educational. It was clear from the OP that I do use Spotify,
but their lack of podcast downloads was making me have to use an additional
"podcatcher", hence my complaint.
