[Queue] Add complete Playlists to the Queue

It would be nice to have the ability of add a complete playlist to the current play queue. Also, I'd like to be able to randomly reproduce the songs added to the queue since currently they need to be reproduced immediately after they were added to the queue. For example, I have two playlists, I start playing the first one and then go to the second and add it to the queue. This way I would be playing two playlists at the same time which would be awesome!

Hey folks!

We're happy to announce that Adding complete playlists to queues is now available on mobile, desktop and the Web Player! Simply click on the three dots and select 'Add to queue'! 🙂

Can we please get this it's a pretty simple feature

worcworcworc

that's not a very discoverable ux pattern there. you could just add the option directly to the playlist menu button, you know...

It's a little ridiculous that this idea is 4.5 years old and this feature isn't implemented. It's objectively not a complicated feature, so why hasn't Spotify implemented it?

Yes!  It’s extremely strange that a music app doesn’t allow you to queue up 2+ albums or playlists back to back, end to end, and have them play consecutively.  The queue and method of adding to it could really use some work.

Why isn’t there a logical UI that uses a “Play Next” in Queue option alongside a “Add to (End of) Queue” functionality?  This simple change would allow entire albums to be added to the end of a queue list or inserted to “play next” in it.  (though logically, playing after the current song has finished)

How could u not add this feature... It's completely basic and no big work for u to realize... I don't get how u could add a queue function to add songs to in the fist place, without making it possible to add ALL Spotify content to it (from all devices). Playing song after song is the whole Idea. Most of the time we listen to Playlist and albums (never really single tracks). Maybe you should rethink it and put it back on the table. To me that decision makes no sense.

I'm amazed such an essential, simple and basic feature that has been requested nearly 5 years ago hasn't been implemented yet on mobile (does anyone still use desktops when they can control music wherever they are at the reach of their hands with a smartphone or smartwatch?). Spotify developers and decision making people, please stop slacking off and spend the 2 hours you need to add this feature. Thanks. I've had this issue countless times in the past where a playlist I'm listening to is near its end and I wished I could queue many more songs in a simple way, not having to spend 5 hours queueing one song at a time manually. There's no workaround for it and I bet 99% of the users out there have experienced this, although they're not active in this forum to upvote (like myself until today).

Just spent the last half hour trying to add an entire playlist to the queue, before finding this. I can't believe this must have feature is not available. If I'm going on a 4 hour car trip I'm not going to add 4 hours worth of individual songs to the queue before leaving and I'm certainly not going to add them while driving.  Having this feature on the desktop app doesn't cut it as I need it on my phone, not my laptop.  Looks like I'll be canceling my premium subscription once the free trial is up.

True, it's unbelievable that's not available, that's why I'm changing to Deezer, it has all the functions and songs in Spotify PLUS this function. It's my go to player when on the road, I can add all my favorite playlists in the queue and be happy.

Why is adding album to queue a thing while this is not? It's ridiculous. I mean, on desktop you get the fancy ctrl + A but as mobile users we don't have that. I use spotify mostly on mobile, and no way I want to spend energy to touch my desktop just to add a playlist to the queue, that's unreasonable.

Great job with the Desktop feature.  Would be great to add to mobile as others suggest.
