[Queue] Add complete Playlists to the Queue

It would be nice to have the ability of add a complete playlist to the current play queue. Also, I'd like to be able to randomly reproduce the songs added to the queue since currently they need to be reproduced immediately after they were added to the queue. For example, I have two playlists, I start playing the first one and then go to the second and add it to the queue. This way I would be playing two playlists at the same time which would be awesome!

Hey folks!

We're happy to announce that Adding complete playlists to queues is now available on mobile, desktop and the Web Player! Simply click on the three dots and select 'Add to queue'! 🙂

Not just queuing but also shuffling multiple playlists would be fantastic.

Juat adding my two cents to this since the option exists for the web player, desktop application and iOS app I have a very hard time understanding why it can't also be implemented for android. It's annoying having to switch phones just to add a playlist to the queue with the added risk of the queue getting lost somewhere in the switch due to a syncing error.

I’d like to be able to queue more than one playlist. If that functionality exists it’s well hidden.

The ability to put a playlist in the queue itself exists right? Do you mean that you want to add a shuffled playlist to play with your pre-shuffled playlist?

Or, do you mean that you simple just want to queue a playlist that’s shuffled because the playlist is annoying to listen to if you don’t shuffle it?

(If you simple just want to queue a playlist just open the playlist, click on the 3 dots and choose add to queue)

Folkharp55425,

Obviously, this wasn't possible, before a change had been made. This idea was submitted in 2015.

Since I made my post the ability to queue up a playlist on android has been added which is good since that brings all application variants into line with each other at least. (though to be fair I've mostly given up on the queue because when switching between desktop and mobile version of the app the queue got corrupted/lost way too often)

I now have a playlist I use as a queue and when I shuffle it I do it in place with the playlist.management service.

But there is a bug: The queued playlist plays sequentially even if it is set as Shuffled. I need it to play shuffled.

recent updates look like they broke this on android

I have thoroughly enjoyed this feature still available on iOs and MacOS. Up until last night (Sept. 7, 2023) it was also available on my Fire Tablet but suddenly has now disappeared. That option is no longer available. The options available when selecting the 3 dots have increased minus the option to "Add to Queue". Can you tell me what happened? How does this get restored?
