Why isn't there an option to just repeat a track? I hate having to place a song in a playlist of its own, and then put it on repeat which just repeats the playlist. People have been suggesting you add this feature for years now!

EVERY music app should have this feature! This feature should be on all the Spotify apps across all platforms.

Add it to the same button as now with a 3-step repeat mode:

1. Repeat ALL/PLAYLIST 
2. Repeat TRACK

3. Repeat OFF

If Spotify wants to compete with the competition, they need to add this basic feature!

It worries me that Spotify hasn't implemented this popular simple idea from 4 years ago, but instead they implement more complex newer ideas.

If you ask some people -- this has been a request since the launch of Spotify.

I love Spotify, but it hurts that a simple feature like this gets passed up every time new features are rolled out.

I feel like I'm living in the 1990s with no repeat track mode anywhere to be found within Spotify.

This is a basic feature and it's being looked at like a grain of salt. 

I comb through Twitter search every day and a lot of people are very confused on how the repeat mode works so I link them to this idea.

I've referred 50+ people now to the link... some didn't know that it only repeated the playlist.

This is very confusing for a lot of people, especially newcomers.

I have this play list that contains odds and ends.  Now imagine settling into bed listening to a ten minute binaural beat with 'loop' mode set to ON.  Seven minutes into the the beat I begin to descend into the needed sleep.  Eleven minutes later 'Ice Cream Headache' blasts me off out of my pillow.  Thats not nice.  Please add the feature.

This feature seems to be a major deal to some people. For some, it's the reason they have switched to competitors. I'm really dissapointed in Spotify that it's taking them so long to implement this feature. So far we have had no update, other than that this is under consideration. I love Spotify, but this feature would complete the service as far as having the "basic necessities".

I wish this feature existed daily. Sometimes I'll switch to itunes or even youtuberepeater just to repeat a song for an hour or so.  I repeat single tracks for long periods of time when i'm heads down coding.

In the spirit of following up on this thread, I thought I´d mention that we´ve passed this idea long. We know the idea is older than the new community yet the idea has continued to grow in popularity since.

Personally, I can understand why the feature would be both essential and basic. Further, I know some of you are getting quite tired of adding one track to a playlist and putting the playlist in "repeat mode". Please add kudos and comments here if you like the idea.

I can't believe this is even an issue. It's the most obvious thing within some kind of music player, to be able to repeat a song. I mean come on.
