Way to prevent duplicates in playlists.

I have big playlists, and would like a built in way to prevent duplicates from occuring in my playlists.  This could be an option to prevent, or select/hide duplicates.

Just add a tick when a song is already in a playlist, so users don't have to check manually by themselves.

I am sure it might not be very difficult to implement and that feature would be very useful for many users!

More features: Show how many times the song is repeated in the playlist next to it... for example:

✔ (2) - Name of playlist A

✔ (1) - Name of playlist C

I think they are basicly the same idea. The first idea I understand that it would show you what song is the one that its already in a playlist, and let you choose to allow it or not. Depends on issues 🙂

They are not the same idea!!

The idea I pusblished was intended to manage all of your songs (not just duplicated tracks in a playlist) and its main purpose is to know in which playlists they actually are.  So, maybe managing duplicates is an 'application' of what I proposed, but it's definetly NOT its main purpose. Therefore, I wouldn't merge these threats..
