Way to prevent duplicates in playlists.

I have big playlists, and would like a built in way to prevent duplicates from occuring in my playlists.  This could be an option to prevent, or select/hide duplicates.

Folks, for real. You can't expect a pc to sort out your lifes. I hate all updates that spotyfi have done leatly. Previus it whas so clear and easy to c what and where i whas in a play list....now i have no ide' where i'm am in spotyfi. I'm starting to belive that this **bleep** i'm reading in this thred might have something to do with that. Spotyfi whas perfektly good as it whas one year ago, if any "service" program try be perfect for every body, only thing happends is that it never going to be "it self"....constatly changing is NOT good allways...

Seriously this is starting to be ridiculous! There has been maybe 4 updates during this year and still nothing about implementing a way to manage duplicates. A feature that was requested right in the beginning and still has huge support behind it.

There should be an option to enable/disable this feature on individual playlists when/if this feature is implemented, which I believe it should be. Some playlists I may actually want duplicates. While others I may not.

I believe this was covered in other comments, but if we were able to know what playlists any individual song is in, then we would know not to add it as a duplicate. A feature to be able to right click on a song and see what playlists it is currently in would be helpful.
